Delices and Gourmandises : How to prepare a traditional beef Bourguignon


This iconic dish traces its origin in Burgundy and form with the Burgundy red wine symbolic products that make that region famous. Burgundy is indeed known for two main things which are the Charolaise breed and the vineyards producing high quality wines. Beef Bourguignon, an easy to prepare recipe

In order to serve 6 people, you will need 800gr beef, 100gr bacon, 50gr butter or 3 tablespoon olive oil, 2 onions, garlic, a bouquet garni, 2 tablespoon flour, 250gr Paris mushrooms.You will also need 75cl red wine that you could easily find at Delices and Gourmandises. You will approximately need 1h for the cooking and 15 minutes for the preparation.

Put the bacons, beef, butter or olive oil in a pot. Add the chopped onions and the mushrooms. Sprinkle flour then mix everything. Once you have a light brown color for your newly formed mixture, pour the wine until the meat is completely covered. Season it with salt and pepper before you add the garlic and the bouquet garni. Next, you let it cook for about 60 minutes before you can serve it.
